About Simply Play Canby

A welcoming indoor play space where little adventurers can explore, create, and grow—and grown-ups can feel right at home. We believe in the power of unstructured play to spark joy and connection.

Simply Play is a locally owned indoor playground in the heart of downtown Canby, created to give little ones a welcoming place to play, explore, imagine, and just be kids.

In August 2026, Simply Play began a new chapter with Pam Thomas and Kaylee Brock, a mother-daughter team with deep roots in Canby and a shared love for creating experiences for children and families.

Meet Pam

Pam has called Canby home for more than 20 years and is no stranger to local small business. As the previous owner of The Place to Be Café, she brings years of business and community experience to Simply Play.

Pam has always had a passion for event planning and bringing people together. Now, as a grandma, she has an even greater appreciation for finding fun activities, adventures, and special experiences to enjoy with little ones.

At Simply Play, Pam takes the lead on day-to-day operations, parties, special events, and all the little details that help make each visit special.

Meet Kaylee

Meet Kaylee — Co-Owner

Kaylee was raised right here in Canby and is now raising two little ones of her own. She is also the owner of Growing Giraffes Preschool, an early childhood center that has grown to serve more than 75 children with a team of 15 employees.

Kaylee brings years of early childhood and business experience to Simply Play, along with an artistic eye and a talent for marketing. She loves creating spaces that are welcoming, engaging, and fun for kids and their families.

Our Simply Play Story

Together, Pam and Kaylee bring different strengths to Simply Play—business experience, early childhood knowledge, creativity, marketing, event planning, and a love for their Canby community.

We want Simply Play to be more than an indoor playground. We want it to be a place where kids can be kids, grown-ups feel welcome, birthdays are celebrated, families connect, and memories are made.

We’re excited to continue growing Simply Play right here in the community we call home.
